Guess who Elder Gygi is talking to? His family on Christmas day!!!

Hey Family!

We had a great week this past week. Remember that first house we knocked on and found 5 new investigators? Well, we went back and found out that about an hour after we left, they got a call from an aunt, who lives in Oregon. She said that their nephew just got out of the hospital, (he was the one they wanted us to go inside and pray for). They then said, "We know you were sent from God because He answered our prayers." We are going back to teach that family tonight.

Just a little bit of mission news. We just got about 25 new missionaries at the very end of January. Within the next 12 days we will be getting 42 new missionaries! The forces are really coming in now! They have to open up a ton of new areas here soon.

Right now we are expected to be on the streets for at least three hours doing harvesting blessings. It's kind of a special way to just say, "Can we pray with you?” We are seeing absolute miracles from it. This past week our mission had a record number of new investigators come from it.

My area here reminds me a lot of Sanger. I just wish we were here on bikes. I love being outside riding the bikes. Our area is just so huge with a ton of cities that we simply can't do that. But it's okay. We're seeing a ton of success. We have a baptism of a 9-year-old girl named K. this Sunday. She's awesome and is seriously so smart.

I just love being a missionary. I hope no one ever takes for granted the limited time they have to invite others to come to Christ with the title of Elder (or Sister), cuz it doesn't happen too often. I know that God loves us, and he shows us miracles to confirm the faith already present in an individual.
