Hey Family!
It's been a busy week. As you know I was transferred down
south to the Selma 2/Reedley area. I love it here. Of course I miss Ceres, but
there is just something unique and lovable about each area. My area is huge due
to stake (a Mormon territorial jurisdiction comprising a group of wards) boundaries being recently changed a lot. We are right behind the
Sanger Mountain, and right next to the Sequoias. It's pretty sweet. And the
work is going great.
We taught a lady named S. and her two kids the other
day. She's awesome. She attends the English classes that we hold on Thursday
nights. But the whole family came to church yesterday, which was awesome. And
the branch fell in love with her and her kids. So she has super good fellowshiper now. And after church we took her over to show her the baptismal font and teach
her a little about it. And she and her kids were feeling the spirit super
strong. They accepted to be baptized this Sunday after stake conference! It was
a great miracle.
We are also teaching a family named M. and J. and their
two kids. They are awesome too! We taught them the first lesson last Thursday
and we were only planning on teaching up until the apostasy, but the spirit
changed it and we ended up continuing on with Joseph Smith. And the spirit
absolutely filled the room. It was awesome. All four of them accepted to be
baptized on the 3rd of March!

My new companion, Elder Scoffield, is way awesome. He's from
Pocatello, Idaho. He is the district leader. And my assignment is something
President Gelwix just started. It's called a leadership trainer. And I
basically just shadow over him and help him, as this is the first time being
the district leader. I love this new assignment. It's seriously so much fun.
