Spring is Coming

Hey Family!

I had a great story from this week that really built my testimony.  The Lord knows each individual person here on earth, no matter where they live or who they are. We were walking down a street we felt inspired to walk on the night before, and we see one of our members talking to someone. So we go say, "Hi" to the member and to her friend. Her friend's name is M. She said she just moved up here from San Diego, and that the missionaries like us a long, long time ago used to visit her. We talked to her about her life and how she is doing, and she told us she has been involved very heavily into drugs for 30 years. She started crying as we talked to her about how we could help her. The spirit was super strong, and we testified that God loves her and knows her perfectly. We also testified that God sent us down this street at this time just to find her. And that is His evidence of His love for her. God loves everyone equally. She didn't have a ton of money, she wasn't living in a good house, and her kids aren't even with her anymore, but my own personal testimony was strengthened. The atonement covers ALL heartaches and pains caused by our shortcomings. And I know personally that God loves us individually.

Another quick story. The other day we were eating at the taqueria in Dinuba. After the meal, we got up and went to thank the cook. We made small talk getting to know her for a bit and then we offered to come over and bless her home and family. She graciously accepted that. Yesterday, we went over to visit her. We ended up sitting down with her and her husband to have a lesson and they both accepted a baptismal date for the 31 of March. It was a testimony builder for me that we can share the gospel with literally ANYONE. The church is true. Love it.
