New Companion!

So today is preparation day because transfers are on Monday instead of Wednesday. And guess what? I'm staying here again! But Elder Rodriguez is getting transferred to Wood Lakes which is in Visalia. I was bummed that he's leaving but it's all good. I learned so much from him. He'll be companions with Elder Peterson! The super tall guy who i went to school with at BYUI. And my companion will be Elder Haddock.

So the next preparation day will be the 24th. Hey, that's the day Jordan flies to Mexico. I mean Elder Wheeler. Crazy! He'll tear it up down there.

This was a pretty good week. We are doing amazing with finding new investigators. And lots of them are progressing, which means baptisms soon!

San Diego Temple

The Zone Leaders gave us a referral this week for a guy named Juan Lerma. The Zone Leaders were going to talk to a former investigator at that house but he no longer lived there. Anyways, they talked to Juan and he wanted missionaries to come back. So we went and contacted him yesterday. He said that his sister was baptized and married in the San Diego Temple. And he wants the same! He is way solid and everything makes perfect sense to him.

It's crazy how we are sometimes led to find a specific person at a specific time. There are so many people who are prepared to be baptized and we just have to pray to find where they're at. Just like Juan, there are people who are literally waiting for someone to invite them to be baptized.

But yeah, we're going to the fair today! It should be way fun, but we aren't allowed to ride any rides. That's okay though.
