Fresno

It's been a good week getting transferred. I'm in Fresno, and HOLY HISPANOS. A mi me encantan todos estas personas. I love being in Fresno. It's where all the missionaries want to be. Just cuz we hear about everything that happens in the mission.

But yeah, my companion is way cool. He's from Highland, UT. And yeah, his older brother served a mission in South Africa, which is pretty cool. (Sean was born in Pretoria, So. Africa while we lived there years ago)

But I am absolutely loving this ward. Every single person in the ward is Spanish! And I hopefully get to go on an exchange to Sanger this week and see the Zambrano family! I'm super excited for that.

There are a ton of solid people we are teaching here. One of them is Berta, she has a fecha bautismal for the 28th of this month. And Martin has a baptismal date for the 21 of this month. And we are also teaching a guy named Dionicio. He wants to get baptized super bad but can't yet. We're are working with him to help him make it happen.

They are all super solid investigators. There is so many chismosos here in Spanish wards it's ridiculous. That means gossipers. Lots of gossipers even make people go inactive and destroy testimonies. It's a real big problem. They even talked about it in conference a lot. (Check out Matt and Mandy)

I'm super excited for this week. Elder D. Todd Christofferson is coming on Saturday! We are so lucky to have two apostles come in a month!
