Delta+Highland=Delhi

Hey Family!

We had a pretty good week here in Ceres with a baptism on Sunday! It was a super good baptismal service. I was the one who baptized her and the water was ridiculously hot. Kinda the opposite of my own baptism, hahaha

The baptismal interview for her was a nightmare though. We basically had to wait at the house for like 3 hours with Elder Frost waiting to interview her until she showed up. No one knew where she was for a long time. But it all worked out :)

The highlight of the week was THE exchange with Elder Harper. He's the best. He's from Kentucky. Phone communication didn't end up working too well so it ended up being a 2-day exchange. We had such a good time though. We made some great street contacts with Spanish people in a small city called Delhi.

We even went to a super good taco truck and got the super burrito! A 3-pound burrito for $5. The investigators in their ward are the best. We taught a lady who's very large and is going to get baptized in a pool soon! She's got a great testimony. This area was a COMPLETE opposite of what I’m used to. It was a neighborhood with huge houses and crazy nice cars. Way too different than Ceres. And we even had dinner at a member's home with lasagna. We even used forks to eat! It was a culture shock.
